Central heating systems can be flushed in three ways:
Manual Flush – A standard method used by many boiler installation companies, where a cleaning chemical is added to the system, the boiler is operated for at least 10 minutes, and the system is subsequently drained.
MagnaClean/Advanced Flush – Builds on the manual flush by using a hose system with cold water to flush each radiator individually, improving the removal of debris.
Power Flush – The most thorough method. A power flushing machine is connected to the heating system, allowing precise control of water flow to remove sludge and contaminants, ensuring the system is fully cleaned and optimised for performance.
